This year at FINOS we are focusing on one of FINOS' key existing projects: Open Source Readiness. This is FINOS' term for helping the finance industry "do open source properly". 

Another busy week in the world of Open Source Readiness:

5th July OSR SIG Meeting

At 3pm BST / 10AM EST we’re having the first of our twice-monthly SIG meetings. Zoom details here.  

This week, Katarina Novakovic will be presenting Citi’s Open Source Contribution Policy and Brittany Istenes will be talking about Foundations and how they are a critical piece of open source infrastructure in order for financial institutions to contribute to projects.

In the Pipeline

I’ve been working with Pooi Cheong and Aronya Roy at Lloyds drafting an article about Creating an OSPO which is in review at the moment - let us know what you think of it.

And Coming Up..

In the next few weeks the SIG will be looking at Git Proxy which got a 1.0.0 release last week and I’ll share Chamindra de Silva’s Inner Source presentation from the FINOS Member Meeting.
