This year at FINOS we are focusing on one of FINOS' key existing projects: Open Source Readiness. This is FINOS' term for helping the finance industry "do open source properly".
We’re a week away from the FINOS Open House on 14th June (now fully booked, sorry!) and the FINOS Member Meeting on 15th June! Registration for June 15 closes today (June 6) so reserve your spot now!
It’s going to be well worth attending: on the 14th I am doing a presentation about our progress on Open Source Readiness over the course of the year, and on the 15th we have two amazing presentations:
.. and that’s just the Open Source Readiness related topics - there are of course lots of talks on FDC3, AI, Codespaces, the Common Domain Model and all sorts of other open source goodness.
So sign up already before it’s too late!
TODO Group (the Open Source Program Office (OSPO) foundation part of the Linux Foundation) are running an OSPO survey which I encourage everyone to take part in.
This is really important to help us find out how open source is growing within industry! Please help out by filling it in!
It’s a big week for reviewing PRs at the OSR Special Interest Group Meeting on Wednesday 10 AM EST and 3PM GMT. We have a load of Pull Requests ready to review and it's a testament to the hard work of the SIG that actually we won’t get through all of them this week!
The group will be chewing over the ripest ones for inclusion into the OSR Site prior to the Member Meeting while eying up the rest for digestion later this month.
Please join us at the banquet and share your views!
