Pierre De Belen is a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs where he leads the Data Model Engineering team, tasked with defining and implementing tools for data specification, transformation and consumption across the firm. He designed and led the implementation of several modeling frameworks used across the firm to query data easily and efficiently while providing advanced lineage information.
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Pierre was a senior consultant at Gemini Systems where he led the definition and implementation of the system managing the NYSE trading floor workflows.
Before that, he was co-founder and chief technology officer at Apeera, a telecom startup funded by GemVentures (a division of Gemplus, now Gematlo) and TPG.
