Here's what's happening during the week of December 11, 2023 within the FINOS community.

Last week marked a significant milestone as we announced version 5.0 of the Common Domain Model (CDM), in partnership with ISLA, ICMA, and ISDA. This major release features a multitude of technical, product, and event improvements. Learn more in the press release.

Exciting news! The beta period for the FINOS Financial Services Open Source Developer (FSOSD) certification, has been extended until January 4th. Read more in our latest OSR blog post and find instructions on how to participate in the beta.

Tune in to our recent podcast episode featuring Alex Lakatos, CTO of Interledger Foundation. We discuss topics such as Interledger Foundation joining FINOS as a member, open source, payments and much more.

Last but certainly not least, we shared the news of the upcoming departure of our Director of Community, James McLeod during our our most recent All Community Call. James’ last day is this Friday, December 15th and we want to extend our best wishes to him in his next venture. Join us in thanking James and wishing him all the best.
