This Week at FINOS: Week of December 20, 2021

With only two weeks left until the New Year, the entire FINOS team would like to take the time to say thanks to all of you in the FINOS community for making this year such an exciting, influential and triumphant year. Thank you to every single person who attended a  FINOS project community meeting, joined a FINOS meetup or virtual event, was able to make it to our Open Source Strategy Forum in-person event in either London or NY (the recordings are now available to watch here), contributed to our newsletter or our community TWAF, or was able to help promote the value of our open source community in financial services in any which way, we thank you.

The success of the FINOS open source community depends on those involved, those who help drive our mission and value forward. We owe our growing success to each of you, and we look forward to seeing what we can accomplish in the coming year together.

• The objective of the Currency Reference Data  work stream is to create a standard object to represent currency data and create a central cloud based repository of the currency data. Modeling is being done in the FINOS hosted instance of Legend Studio.
