As the Citi India Hackathon, supported by FINOS, comes to a close, the remarkable creativity and passion of the participants truly stand out.
From 1188 innovators spanning Citi India, premier academic institutions (IITs, IIITs, NITs, VIT, VJTI, COEP, Cummins, and many more), and FINOS member organizations (including NatWest, Morgan Stanley, UBS, Red Hat, S&P Global, KPMG, Mend.io, etc.) across the country, we witnessed transformative solutions tackling some of the most urgent challenges in the FinTech world.
These efforts are not just innovative concepts—they represent pathways to a better future for the communities we serve. Congratulations to all the participants and especially our Hackathon Winners!

The Citi India Hackathon supported by FINOS focused on two FINOS projects - FDC3 and GitProxy. Participants across India from premier academic institutions and FINOS member organisations coded over a 15-day period culminating in Platinum, Gold, and Silver Hackathon Award Winners!
FDC3
FDC3 is an open standard for applications on financial desktop to interoperate and exchange data with each other.
GitProxy
GitProxy deploys custom push protections and policies on top of Git. It is a highly configurable framework allowing developers and organizations to enforce push protections relevant to their developer workflow, security posture and risk appetite.
