FINOS TOC UPDATE

Welcome to the first monthly newsletter from the FINOS Technical Oversight Committee! This month we’ll loop you in on the latest activities from the TOC— beginning with the context behind this newsletter.

We’ll also aim to have a few timely updates from projects— starting here with notes from TraderX and Common Cloud Controls!

Over time, we hope this newsletter will help increase alignment and visibility across the FINOS Landscape.

TOC UPDATES

Liaison Program Launch

In order to better support FINOS projects, the members of the TOC have each selected active projects to support as part of the TOC Liaison Program. This program is designed to help maintainers connect and get the most out of the ecosystem, while also integrating with this newsletter to provide increased visibility of project developments to the rest of the community.

If you are a project maintainer and haven’t heard from a TOC Liaison, please feel free to reach out to toc@lists.finos.org to request more information for your project!

PROJECT UPDATES

TraderX

Currently, the primary focus is integrating with both FINOS and non-FINOS projects. If you know of a project or happen to run one that could benefit from integration with TraderX, please reach out to the team directly or via help@finos.org.

Common Cloud Controls

The first two CCC release candidates have completed their review by the Change Management Board, and they are live as official releases: Object Storage and VPC. If you’d like to help review the next round of releases, reach out to ccc-delivery@lists.finos.org for more information.
