The FINOS Community had an incredible time at our first Open Source in Finance Meetup of 2022 at Synechron FinLabs in midtown New York. During the meetup we enjoyed food, drink and great presentations from FINOS, Compliant Financial Infrastructure and the EDM Council.

Monday, March 21st
- 9am ET / 1pm GMT. FDC3: App Directory Discussion Group
- Discussion group to develop proposals for the improvement of the App Directory as part of the FDC3 standard. The group will examine the role/value/necessity of the AppD as part of the FDC3 specification and a compliance requirement for use of the FDC3 API, in addition to working on proposals to improve the description and functionality of the App Directory.

Tuesday, March 22nd
- 10am ET / 2pm GMT. Financial Objects SIG meeting
- The Financial Objects Special Interest Group (SIG) provides a neutral forum for individuals across the financial services industry to collectively identify the need for new, open, financial objects standards as well as modifications to existing ones. The goal of the Financial Objects Special Interest Group is to promote adoption of financial object definitions and models that support common industry workflows and use cases.

Wednesday, March 23rd
- 10am ET / 2pm GMT. FDC3: Desktop Agent Bridging Discussion Group
- The purpose of this working group is to extend the FDC3 API's to improve support for producing bridges between FDC3 implementations aka Desktop Agents.

Thursday, March 24th
- 9am ET / 1pm GMT. FDC3 Standard Working Group
- FDC3 aims to provide an open standard for interoperability on the financial desktop. This includes standardized verbs to invoke actions between applications (called "intents"), a standardized data format, an OpenAPI app directory standard, and standardized API operations.
